Liam Gallagher has hit back at critics after being blasted by boxing fans online for his performance before Daniel Dubois' stunning win over Anthony Joshua at Wembley on Saturday night.

The 52-year-old performed several songs before the bout as he prepares to reunite with his brother, Noel Gallagher, for a special Oasis tour next year.

Not everybody was impressed, however, with some users online taking aim at his performance.

Some called it 'dire', while others called for Oasis to refund fans who have purchased tickets for their upcoming tour.

And Gallagher, true to form, held no punches as he made his feelings clear.

When quizzed further on his 'haters', he continued: "I love the haters I hope I wreck there (sic) face."

However, he was ruthlessly beaten by Dubois on Saturday night - with the 27-year-old producing the best performance of his career to secure victory.

Speaking in the aftermath of his win, the younger man said: "I am the man.
