Mike Tyson and Jake Paul's fight last year failed to live up to the hype.

Joe Rogan was left disappointed by both Mike Tyson and Jake Paul from their controversial fight last year.

More than 60 million fight fans tuned in to watch YouTuber Paul step into the ring with the former undisputed heavyweight world champion.

The bout garnered plenty of criticism in the build up due to the significant age gap between them both.

Despite the controversy, millions tuned in to watch the fight with many backing Tyson to roll back the years.

Unfortunately, the event failed to live up to expectations with Tyson landing just 18 punches in the entire fight.

Rogan was one of many who paid to watch the fight, helping both boxers earn a huge payday as a result.

Paul boasted in November that he was set to earn $40m from the fight while Tyson has already spent $13m on a new mansion.

The fact that both boxers got paid significantly for the show last year is the only plus point for Rogan.

The 57-year-old was asked by Gad Saad what he made of Tyson's comeback fight against Paul, to which he replied: “I’m happy they made money. I’ll leave it at that."

But Rogan continued and accused both fighters of holding back in the ring.

He added: “I think it looked like sparring, to me. It didn’t look like anybody was trying to hurt anybody really, which is good.

“Whatever, you draw your own conclusions. I have no facts. I paid for it.

“I love Mike Tyson. I’ve met Jake Paul too, he’s a cool guy.

“I’m happy they made money. I paid for it. I don’t care.

"I was hoping it was going to be a real fight, but I was like, ‘Okay, I see what’s going on’.

"Tyson has teased the potential of stepping back into the ring once again, despite approaching his 60th birthday.

Meanwhile, Paul has teased a potential blockbuster fight with his older brother, Logan.

The Paul brothers shared a photo on social media of the pair facing off with the caption: "The moment you've waited a decade for... March 27th on @StreamOnMax."

However, ESPN boxing pundit Mike Coppinger has poured cold water on a potential fight between the two siblings.

He wrote on X: "Per multiple sources, this will be a reality series."
