WWE icon Hulk Hogan has revealed he recently 'pulled Jake Paul aside' to get to the bottom of his controversial fight with Mike Tyson.
The two Americans had been due to fight on July 18, only for the bout to be pushed back after Tyson recently suffered an ulcer flare up.
Many feel Paul shouldn't be fighting Tyson because of the huge 30-year age gap between the two men.
And Hogan has admitted he wanted clarity on the rules surrounding the fight amid fears it could be scripted to avoid either man coming to harm in the ring.

“I’m friends with both guys. I love Mike to death, but I was in Miami for the Formula 1 races with Jake Paul," he told TMZ.
"I pulled Jake aside and said, ‘Hey brother, what’s up with this thing? Is this a work like wrestling, or are you guys going to really go at it?’
"He [Paul] says, ‘I’m gonna knock him out!’
“So I’m excited about it. I’m glad it is rescheduled because I don’t want any excuses.
"I want both men at 100 per cent. I get a feeling this will be the fight of the century, brothers. This is going to be a good one.”

Tyson is arguably the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time.
He dominated the sport during his prime years, beating the likes of Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbkick in the 1980s to consolidate his legacy.
Tyson will be 58 by the time his fight with Paul takes place, with the icon set to celebrate his birthday on June 30.
Yet Hogan thinks he remains a formidable opponent and believes he's capable of hurting Paul when they battle on November 18.
“If it were anybody else, I would say yes, but Tyson has that eye of the tiger, Brother!" he said when asked if Tyson could lose against Paul.

"When he gets focused, he will seek and destroy.
“I see that bad dog look in his eye now. It’s like when you don’t trust a bad dog that might bite you at any time, that’s the look he’s got.
"I remember that look from 25 years ago; it’s scary.
"I hope that Jake Paul steps up and is ready for Iron Mike. They keep forgetting his name, which is ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
"This is just a small glitch in the system, a temporary setback. If he wants Tyson trained, he’s quick, fast, and moves like he did twenty years ago.”

Paul, meanwhile, is now set to fight Mike Perry on July 18 instead.
But UFC legend Michael Bisping thinks the former YouTuber has chosen the wrong opponent, insisting Perry is a 'savage'.
"I say that he has made a big mistake here," he said on his YouTube channel.
“The reason that he called out Tommy Fury is because he is a YouTube star and he has the name Fury, he thought he could beat him.
"He didn’t beat him, so he went back to people like Nate Diaz. When you’re talking about Mike Perry, he is a savage.

“He’s got good technique, when you look at the boxing of Jake Paul. Even though he was going up against Mike Tyson, there was a chance and danger that he would lose that fight in devastating fashion.
"He thinks Mike Perry is easy work, he thinks he is going to go out there and beat him but he’s wrong.
"Mike Perry is a fighter, there isn’t a fight that he won’t take. He is the epitome of a real fighter."
