Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will go toe-to-toe in a fight on Netflix next month.

Jake Paul has revealed he will 'take a break' from fighting after going up against Mike Tyson - but still plans to become a world champion one day.

The Youtuber-turned-boxer will step back into the ring against one of the most iconic fighters in the history of boxing next month.

Paul has largely fought against former UFC fighters and lost to Tommy Fury last year in what was seen as his toughest fight to date.

But his clash against Tyson has garnered plenty of critics who have expressed concern due to the 31-year age gap between the two of them.

Tyson last fought professionally back in 2005 and turned 58 years old a few months ago.

The fight will be Paul's 12th of his career with questions being raised on how much longer he plans to stay in the sport.

The 27-year-old has admitted that he plans to step away briefly after the fight against Tyson, but has no plans to retire any time soon.

"I feel like I'm gonna take a little break," Paul said.

"I'm gonna keep fighting for sure.

"But I think my plan is to just get through November 15, have the best performance possible, knock Mike Tyson out and then just see how I'm feeling after that."

He added: "One shot could change the whole entire fight.

"At the end of the day there's always going to be critics no matter what you do.

"That's the nature of humanity... you can never satisfy people so I don't waste my energy trying to do that.

"I'm just doing what I think is cool and that's fighting Mike Tyson."

Paul has repeatedly stated his desire to become a world champion at some stage and that goal hasn't changed.

"After this, my goal is to become world champion," Paul said.

"The big fights and the entertaining fights are fun and I love it but I still am gonna fight real boxers and I'm still going to become world champion.

"Once I do that, I'll prove myself right that I was able to accomplish one of the hardest things in sports and no one will be able to say anything after that.

"Once I have the belt, any comment, any hate and any critique is silenced."
