The 27-year-old will be hoping to stun Iron Mike tonight

Jake Paul has been brutally booed by boxing fans ahead of his bout with Mike Tyson tonight.

The 27-year-old has put on the big event as he looks to continue his impressive start to his fighting career, having won 10 of his 11 pro showdowns so far.

But it seems Tyson will have the backing of the crowd, if their reaction before the clash is anything to go by.

As Paul's face flashed across the big screen, the former YouTube and Disney star was brutally booed by those in attendance at the AT&T Stadium.

He is, however, unlikely to care too much given how much he'll be earning.

Speaking back in August, Paul revealed he was in line to make around $40million (£31.1m) from the clash.

"I'm here to make 40 million dollars and knock out a legend. I don't give a f**k about anything else,” he said.

Paul then revealed that it was actually Tyson, rather than himself, who wanted it to be sanctioned as a pro fight.

“And he's the one that wanted it to be a pro fight," he continued.

"So he's gonna get his a** knocked out real, real, for real on a real record.

"You're gonna see on BoxRec -- Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, Jake Paul KOs Mike Tyson.”

For Tyson, his clash with Paul represents a chance to rewrite some of the wrongs of the past.

His last pro fight came all the way back in 2005 when he lost to Kevin McBride in Las Vegas.

Prior to that showdown, Iron Mike had been defeated by Danny Williams.

But Tyson has insisted the battle won't change his life financially and that his desire for 'glory' is behind his decision to return to the ring.

"This fight is not going to change my life financially," the veteran admitted.

Tyson's last fight was an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

The boxing icon split opinion that night, with some feeling he lacked the power, speed and agility of old.

However, if he beats Paul at the age of 58, it will only cement Tyson's reputation as one of the best boxers of all time.
