Conor McGregor has been mocked by fans after his interaction with Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday night.

Both figures were sat alongside each other for Anthony Joshua's boxing win over Otto Wallin, with Deontay Wilder also losing to Joseph Parker in front of the same crowd.

McGregor looked delighted upon seeing Ronaldo, with the UFC legend comparing watches.

Yet the Al-Nassr football star looked uncomfortable and awkward, with fans online now mocking McGregor as a result.

"What is bro yapping about?" said one user, accompanying their post with skull emojis.

"Never seen him look so uncomfortable," said another fan.

A third hilariously compared Ronaldo and McGregor to the meme of a man in a nightclub chatting up a disinterested woman.

"McGregor yapping like always," said a fourth user.

A fifth stated: "He was like bro it's hella seats in here why did you sit by me."

A sixth joked: "Ronaldo was thinking to himself 'how did I get here at the first place?'"

And a seventh said: "Both legends but McGregor behaving like that annoying cousin."

While Ronaldo did initially seem uncomfortable, images show him laughing at comments made by McGregor.

Both men saw a spectacular night of boxing in Riyadh, with Joshua's win over Wallin seeing the Briton return to his best.

Wilder's loss to Parker was, however, a major upset.

And the American hinted he could quit the sport he loves by saying: “We’ll see what happens, we still have a little bit left, but I did a great job managing my money.

“I’m a happy fighter. I’ll be back, and if not, then it’s been a pleasure.

"I don’t know [if I still have the same fire I used to], a lot has calmed me down.

"I’ve been wearing this smile all week long and I’mma still wear it.

"Nothing can stop me on that.”

Wilder did, however, then proceed to tell fans 'this is not the end' in the wake of his defeat to Parker.

In a message on social media, the 38-year-old stated: "We came up short tonight.

"I don't know what happened to be honest. My timing was off and I didn't let my hands go like I was supposed to.

"Sometimes it gets like that but you live to see another fight. You live to see another moment, that's all that matters.

"I'm still full of happiness, I'm still full of joy, still full of smiles.
