The Gypsy King is currently preparing for his fight with Oleksandr Usyk

Boxing star Tyson Fury has been accused of dodging a massive £82,000 council tax bill.

The Gypsy King is currently in the spotlight after his blockbuster fight with Oleksandr Usyk creeps closer, with the pair primed to face each other in February.

Fury's next fight will, however, seemingly be against the tax man.

The Sun say Fury, as well as his father John and his brother Shane, owe Cheshire East Council a massive £82,000.

It's claimed Fury and his family owe the sum for property 'adjourning their £1million mansion in Styal'.

Magistrates are set to issue a legal order on Tuesday demanding they pay up.

It's said that if the three Furys all fail to cough up they could face 'enforcement action'.

A bailiff may be given the task of reclaiming assets from the family, which would be no easy task given their fighting past.

Fury is one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time, while his father John is a former professional.

And Shane is also a former superheavyweight amateur boxer, too.

The report says the council tax demand relates to land used for caravans and motorhomes adjoining the family's mansion in Cheshire.

Court documents say the Furys owe exactly £82,166.85 to Cheshire East Council.

The family should have no trouble affording the amount, however, due to having a joint net worth of more than £134million.

Fury, John and Shane are all listed as the owners of the home and the land by Land Registry papers.

John is said to live at the property, though his son resides in Morecambe in Lancashire.

Barrister Sarah Robson, a fixed costs specialist at Alpha Court Chambers, is quoted as saying: “Often, the first time people realise a liability order has been granted is when bailiffs are sent round.

“Cases are often sent to magistrates in batches of hundreds and sometimes thousands, and they are rubber stamped without real scrutiny.”

The Furys are not expected to attend court today.

Meanwhile, as Fury's fight with Usyk creeps closer, many fans are excited.

Yet John recently said his son must change his approach, having seen Fury struggle against Francis Ngannou last time out.

"Tyson will have the eye of the tiger back for this one, he'll need to change everything round," he told the Daily Mail.

"He'll need to do everything different and gain some solid muscle and put some work in - crack his balls working and when he does that, Usyk's going to have a problem.

"He won't be facing this negative Tyson that you saw with a s*** game plan.

"I'm going to say it first. Whoever puts the best camp in and does the work will get it and deserve it.

"If Usyk puts a better camp in that Tyson, he works his a** off, he gets everything right, the better man will win.

"It's up to both guys what they want out of this.

"Tyson knows he needs an 180 degree turnaround.

"If he's not prepared to do that, good luck to Usyk."
