The two men will face off on May 18 in Saudi Arabia

Oleksandr Usyk has taken to social media to show off his ripped physique ahead of his fight with Tyson Fury next weekend.

All eyes will be on the pair when they lock horns in the Middle East, with millions from all over the world set to tune in to arguably the biggest fight of the 21st century.

Fury has slimmed down, with the Briton looking far leaner than he was when he narrowly beat Francis Ngannou in October.

Yet the Gypsy King isn't the only man who has been putting in the work in the gym, with Usyk also doing the same.

In new photos uploaded on his Instagram account, the Ukrainian can be seen looking heavier than ever before.

By bulking up, Usyk could be looking to prevent Fury from leaning on him during the fight - with the Briton previously using that tactic during his victories over Deontay Wilder.

Usyk has been flooded with messages on social media since sharing the image, with one fan saying: "Usyk, I'm s Brit but I'm cheering for you. You got this brother! Good luck! Slava Ukraini!"

A second said: "Undisputed champion of the world loading…"

A third opined: "Go and take what is yours, Champ!!!"

And a fourth stated: "You're gonna crush it!! Super excited for this one. Usyk all the way!"

Another tactic Fury has used to rile opponents in the past is mocking them.

He has previously called Usyk a 'rabbit man' and a 'sausage', among other things, ahead of the fight.

But Fury has now opted to change things up by complimenting his rival instead.

“As a fighter he’s done everything that can be done so you have to respect him," he said.

"He’s done fantastic, just like Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Joseph Parker, myself.

“We’ve all done fantastic, we are multimillionaires who changed our stars for the better. You have to respect him and admire him.

"I don’t really know him as a man because I’ve never been out with him for a beer.

"But from what I’ve seen he’s a family man.

“I can 100 per cent sit here and say, me or Usyk, when we sit back and we’re finished, we’re not going to be thinking about some idiot who said it was a good, bad or indifferent fight.

“We give our lives to this game.

"He’s probably been boxing longer than me, he’s had 315 amateur wins against 15 losses so he’s had a lot of fights, and 20 odd as a pro.

“He’s come from Ukraine, I don’t know from what sort of background but probably a poor one.

“I don’t think he’ll be bothered what people think of him when he’s getting a fortune on the world’s biggest stage.

“I always say, unless you’ve been a boxer who has won world championships then you can’t run people down.”

Fury and Usyk had originally been due to fight in December.

However, their bout was delayed to February with the Gypsy King requiring more time to recover from his narrow win over Ngannou.

Injury then struck, however, with Fury sustaining a cut to his eye - which forced the bout to be delayed until May.

And who comes out on top remains to be seen.
