Jake Paul's manager makes feelings clear on Mike Tyson's legacy if he wins controversial boxing clash

Jake Paul's manager, Nakisa Bidarian, believes Mike Tyson will enhance his own legacy if he's able to beat the 27-year-old in their fight next month.
Both men are currently preparing for the showdown, which will finally take place on November 15 having originally been scheduled for July 20.
Many have scrutinised the two men for agreeing to a bout given the age gap between the pair.
Paul is currently 27, meaning he'll have youth on his side, while Tyson is 31 years his senior at the age of 58.

Bidarian, speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, acknowledges that Tyson will have the support of the majority of fans when he returns to the ring next month.
But he reckons the icon's legacy in the sport will be enhanced if he reigns supreme.
"For Mike Tyson, this is his opportunity for redemption," he said.
"People remember his last fight with [Roy] Jones, sitting on a stool and not getting back up.

"Imagine, for all those people who want to see Jake Paul get knocked out, if Mike Tyson at 58 comes back and knocks out Jake Paul, he’ll be revered for the rest of his days.
"He put an end to this YouTuber’s reign."
Paul is a controversial figure within the world of boxing.
With 10 victories to his name from 11 professional bouts so far, however, he certainly can't be underestimated.
Bidarian believes that, if Paul does knock down Tyson, it will spark a huge backlash.
Yet he also feels it will provide the youngster with 'more opportunities' within boxing going forward.
"Now, if Jake does knock out Mike Tyson, sure, there will be a lot of people who are mad," he added.
"But there’s also going to be a lot more opportunities for him in the world of boxing."

Meanwhile, some figures associated with boxing fear for Tyson's health as the clash rapidly approaches.
An ulcer flare up preventing him from battling Paul in July, with the 27-year-old instead going up against Mike Perry on that occasion.
Tyson has been working hard in the gym as he prepares for his first fight since 2020.
And Paul says he's heard the veteran's training camp is going well so far, despite the controversy surrounding their upcoming fight.

"It's Mike Tyson or nothing," he said when asked if he had a back-up plan.
"But first and foremost, he's healthy and feeling amazing and doing great in camp."
