Andrew Flintoff 'had face covered just six weeks ago' after awful Top Gear crash

The England cricket legend has only been seen in public for the first time since his crash earlier this week
Former England cricketer Steve Harmison has claimed Andrew Flintoff was still covering up his face just six weeks ago.
The 45-year-old made a return to working with the England cricket team last week and cut a drastically different figure, despite appearing to be in good spirits.
Flintoff had cuts and bruises on his face, having sustained the injury while working for Top Gear.
The England legend had been involved in an accident at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome back in December and was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Now, speaking on talkSPORT, Harmsion opened up on Flintoff and revealed his close friend had been covering his face as recently as six weeks ago.
"It was great to see him back," said Harmsion, who starred as England won The Ashes back in 2005.
"It's been tough, you've seen the pictures of him with a smile on his face but I saw him about six weeks ago when my son Charlie and his son, Rocky played against each other and it was great to see him.
"Obviously I roomed with Andrew for the best part of 15 years and we'd gone through all our careers together and so to see our two sons playing each other, Northumberland against Lancashire, it was fantastic.
"I got to see him then but at that time he covered his face up when he walked around – believe it or not, he was training a guide dog which I'm sure is going better now than it was because he tripped over around three times on his way around the field!
"He was on great form, but to see him around the England group, the main team, was fantastic.
"This England team are a good bunch and not only are they great cricketers, but they're great ambassadors.
"Freddie was always brilliant in the dressing room and so to have Andrew in the dressing room with them and feeling comfortable and letting him get his feet under the table because they'll be in for a show."
The Flintoff family have delivered just a few updates ever since the accident.
And his son, Corey, revealed earlier in the year that his father was 'lucky to be alive'.
"I'm not too sure what happened but he is lucky to be alive," said the youngster.
"It was a pretty nasty crash. It is shocking. We are all shocked but just hope he's going to be OK."
The BBC are yet to confirm whether or not Flintoff will return to Top Gear.
A previous statement read: "Under the circumstances, we feel it would be inappropriate to resume making series 34 of Top Gear at this time.
"We understand this will be disappointing for fans, but it is the right thing to do, and we'll make a judgment about how best to continue later this year.
"This has also impacted the production team, who we continue to support.
"Finally there will be a health and safety review of the show, in line with our procedures."
Ex-England star Stuart Broad, meanwhile, said last week that Broad was 'in really fine form'.
"I saw him at Cardiff and I had ten minutes with him. He was in really fine form," he said.
"He's been doing some work with the England Under-19s, which he really enjoyed and he'd just arrived in Cardiff to settle into this group for this series.

"Freddie Flintoff would have inspired this side back in '05 and before so he's an icon of English cricket and a legend of the game.
"So just to be able to spend some time around him and pick his brain and feel the aura he has within the group.
"The opportunity for him to pull on the Three Lions shirt again is really special."
