The doctor concluded that various sacred mountains mentioned in religious texts all refer to the pyramid

A British anthropologist has made the extraordinary claim that the body of Jesus Christ lies hidden in a chamber beneath the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

Dr Paul Warner said his decade-long research indicates that both Christ's sarcophagus and the Ark of the Covenant are stored in a concealed "Cave of the Patriarchs."

The researcher has presented his findings to the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities.

He believes these sacred artefacts have remained hidden for centuries behind a stone block in the pyramid's southern passageway.

According to Warner, his research was first presented to the Director of the Science Office around Christmas 2021. The director reportedly responded with enthusiasm, calling the work "a scientific revolution [...] for the benefit of all humanity".

Warner's hypothesis was supported by extensive fieldwork in Egypt and site surveys deep inside the pyramid using advanced technology. These surveys revealed manmade structures beyond the final stone block in the southern passageway.

Warner claims his video and photographic evidence are the first such images from the deepest part of the pyramid structure.

Following his research presentation, the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities appointed Warner as a consultant to the Scan Pyramids Mission.

The international consortium of scientists and engineers used muon radiation particles to peer through stone and examine the pyramids' interior.

"After meeting at the office of Ahmed Issa (Minister for Tourism & Antiquities Egypt) 20th October 2022, Egypt agreed to receive my research data free of charge," said Warner.

In exchange, Egypt committed to scanning beyond the block in the subterranean chamber. However, Warner claims this scan has not been completed.

Warner, who states he is not religious, claims to have used a "purely secular approach" and the "scientific method" to locate the chamber.

Using etymology, he concluded that various sacred mountains mentioned in religious texts all refer to the Great Pyramid of Egypt. This led him to believe that Jesus delivered his "Sermon on the Mount" at the Great Pyramid, which he calls "the birthplace of all Abrahamic religions".

Warner claims the project has received support from "the very highest authorities in Egypt", but faces opposition from Zahi Hawass.

He describes Hawass, who calls himself "the guardian of the pyramids", as "an obstacle to progress" with "notoriously grandiose" influence.

Frustrated by Egypt's alleged breach of agreement, Warner has sought help from Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

Salam, who also serves as President of the UN International Court of Justice, might arbitrate to prevent "an international row".

Warner compares his situation to historical scientists like Copernicus and Galileo who faced opposition from established authorities.

He believes his discovery "has the potential for peace in the Middle East".

Warner wants the final stone block removed this year to reveal what lies beyond. His goal is for the Ark to be displayed as the "Jewel of the Nile" at the opening of the new Grand Egyptian Museum near the Pyramids.
