The royal palaces have confirmed the King Charles will be in attendance at this year's Trooping the Colour event, but Princess Kate will be absent as she continues in her recovery.
The major royal event, set to take place on June 15, will see 2000 soldiers and around 240 horses from the Household Division marching in the King's Birthday Parade.
