King Charles 'condemns violence' in private letter to Donald Trump

Donald Trump "might disclose" the private message from King Charles, GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker has said.

The King has written privately to Donald Trump following his attempted assassination at the weekend, Buckingham Palace confirmed today.

Buckingham Palace declined to divulge the contents of the letter, however, it is understood to have been a similar message to that of Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Starmer said he was “appalled” and that there was “no place” for political violence, while one of his ministers said the UK stood “shoulder to shoulder” with the US.
