Meghan Markle's former Suits co-star, Abigail Spencer, showed her support for the duchess's new Netflix series after it suffered negative reviews on release.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, released her eight-part cookery series With Love, Meghan on March 4, which featured several guests, including the fellow actress.

Following the launch, Spencer, who played lawyer Dana "Scottie" Scott in Suits, posted an on-set photo of the pair smiling in the Californian kitchen alongside Kelly McKee Zajfen.

Spencer penned a heartfelt caption to the duchess under the photo, thanking Meghan for inviting her to the shoot.
