GB News’s Stephen Dixon has issued a staunch defence of Princess Kate, asking what the future Queen has “done wrong”.
The Princess issued an apology this week for doctoring the first official image of her since undergoing abdominal surgery in January.
Earlier in the day, International press agencies had pulled the photo as questions regarding its legitimacy began to surface on social media.
Dixon was left perplexed by the furore surrounding the incident, making his feelings clear during a discussion on GB News.

Royal commentator Helena Chard agreed, adding: “I feel so sorry [for Kate].”
“The Princess of Wales has not had the advice. That’s what has happened and it comes down to Kensington Palace and the communication team”, she said.
“She obviously in hindsight is kicking herself. The problem is the picture agencies who struck the picture off.
“Now it’s the conspiracy theorists and it’s a huge furore. It was a nice gesture and I bet she so regrets it.

“Everyone in the States all feel so sorry as well for the Princess of Wales. She is a great asset to our Royal Family and we need her.”
Kate took the blame for the digitally altered image with her children, taking to social media to say: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.
“I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.
“I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
Royal sources said the Princess of Wales made “minor adjustments” and that Kate and the Prince of Wales wanted to offer an informal picture of the family together for Mother’s Day.
The source added: “The Wales family spent Mother’s Day together and had a wonderful day.”
Kate was later spotted leaving Windsor in a car with William as he was driven to the Commonwealth Day service in London.
The princess was not attending the service, but was understood to have a private appointment.
Despite calls for the original to be published, Kensington Palace said it would not be reissuing the unedited photograph of Kate and her children.
