Sophie and the Duke of Edinburgh are spending some time in Paris
The Duchess of Edinburgh and Prince Edward have been rubbing shoulders with European royals.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were pictured watching the Equestrian Team Event at the Chateau de Versailles on Friday.
Prince Edward, 60, was attending as part of his role as patron of Paralympics GB.
The royal couple sat in front of Queen Silvia of Sweden, 80, Crown Princess Victoria, 47, and her daughter Princess Estelle, 12.
The British royals were photographed hugging the Swedish royals inside the stadium.
Sophie and Edward's positive relationship with the Swedish royals goes back many years.
The duke and duchess attended Crown Princess Victoria's wedding to Prince Daniel back in 2010.
Sophie and Victoria's friendly relationship could also be on display at Prince Carl and Princess Sofia of Sweden's wedding in 2015, where the two were pictured giggling and chatting.

The Duchess of Edinburgh was photographed at the Paralympics wearing a Suzannah dress worth a whopping £1,150.
She accessorised with a pair of Cartier sunglasses and a Links of London "S" pendant to honour her name, Sophie.
The mother-of-three also wore an equestrian hat from the official Fédération Equestre Internationale store.
The duke and duchess were pictured discussing the competition and Sophie was seen applauding the Paralympians.

Edward was dressed casually in a blue gingham print shirt along with a black blazer, a red handkerchief and navy suit trousers. He jazzed up his look with a navy Paralympic cap and a pair of sunglasses.
