During their visit, the Duchess of Edinburgh made a special stop at Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organisation supporting victims of human trafficking.
At the centre, Sophie met Anita, a remarkable woman who has lived there since childhood and now works in the textiles department.
The meeting held particular significance as Anita had previously encountered King Charles during his visit to the facility in 1998.
Working in the centre's textile area, Anita had prepared a heartfelt gift for the King - a handmade cushion.

"I'll be absolutely sure he gets it," Sophie promised upon receiving the thoughtful gift.
When asked about King Charles, the Duchess shared her observations with others at the centre, noting: "Oh, he's still the same, hasn't changed."
The royal couple's visit included a stop at the National Botanic Garden in Godawari, where they participated in a meaningful tree-planting ceremony.

The Duke and Duchess planted a magnolia tree alongside those previously planted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1986.
As Edward shovelled the soil, he remarked it was the "best bit of exercise" he'd had for ages.
The couple took turns watering their newly planted tree, with Sophie noting: "This is going to make all the difference. May the tree grow."
The couple explored the Biodiversity Education Garden during their walk through the grounds.
