A source close to the trustees of the charity Prince Harry co-founded, Sentebale, has accused the organisation's chairman of "playing the race card" amid a bitter governance dispute.
Dr Sophie Chandauka, who was appointed chairman in mid-2023, has been embroiled in controversy following mass resignations from the board.
"She's definitely playing the race card and openly," the source told the Telegraph.
"This is her plan. As soon as anyone turns against her, she brings the race card in, and she comes for you."

The accusations come after trustees, including Prince Harry and co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, resigned en masse earlier this month.
Dr Chandauka, a Zimbabwean-born lawyer, has filed an official complaint to the Charity Commission.
In her complaint, she accused the board of bullying, harassment, misogyny, and misogynoir - a specific form of prejudice directed at black women.
These allegations form part of a wider dispute over the charity's governance.
The source claimed Dr Chandauka made accusations of racism when she realised "things were not going her way".
The governance row has been characterised by claims and counterclaims from both sides.
Sentebale was established to support vulnerable children and young people in southern Africa.
According to the source, Dr Chandauka allegedly accused the trustees of bullying when challenged over losing a major sponsor.
The dispute reportedly centred on the annual Sentebale polo cup, a key fundraising event for the charity.
The sponsor was apparently lost following "an apparent falling out" with Dr Chandauka.
This confrontation appears to have been one of several flashpoints in the deteriorating relationship between the chair and trustees.
The mass resignation of trustees this month marked a significant escalation in the governance crisis.
Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, who co-founded the charity, were among those who stepped down from the board.
Following the confrontation over the lost sponsor, Dr Chandauka is said to have taken her concerns directly to Prince Harry.
This direct approach to the Duke of Sussex bypassed normal board procedures.
The source did not elaborate on Prince Harry's response to Dr Chandauka's concerns. This escalation came before the Duke ultimately resigned from the board alongside other trustees.
