Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice's friend made a damming verdict on Meghan Markle's new Netflix cookery show, branding the duchess as "dreadful".

Tamara Beckwith is a friend of the Duke and Duchess of York and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

The British socialite and media personality co-founded the Lady Garden Foundation, with Fergie, Beatrice and Eugenie all in support of the foundation.

The York family have been regulars at the charities events, with Princess Beatrice and Sarah Ferguson attending the Lady Garden Gala in London in 2022.

Speaking about Meghan's new cookery and lifestyle Netflix show, Beckwith said: "I won't be watching any of it."

'With Love, Meghan' suffered initial negative reviews from UK publications and major ratings sites.

Beckwith was reportedly upset by the duchess's previous Netflix series, Harry & Meghan, which aired in 2022.

The socialite highlighted a moment from the record-breaking Netflix hit in which the duchess performed an exaggerated curtsy when recalling her first meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth.

The moment went viral as Meghan suffered a major backlash from royal fans, viewing the gesture as disrespectful.

Beckwith told Richard Eden at the Mail: "I don't understand how you can disrespect my Queen, and there's no way you can convince me that wasn't blatant disrespect.

"It's just dreadful and she's dreadful.

"I don't want to be mean, but she's just not my people."

The Princess of York also joined hundreds of women at a fundraising run for the charity in 2017.

Tamara is also rumoured to have dated Sarah Ferguson's former husband, Prince Andrew.

Fergie, Beatrice and Eugenie haven't publicly commented on the Meghan's series despite Eugenie's close relationship with the duchess and Prince Harry.
