Sarah Ferguson has shared a photo of the Empire State Building in New York City after touching down in the Big Apple in her latest visit to the US.

The photo, posted to Sarah's Instagram account, showed the duchess snapping a picture of the iconic landmark, seemingly taken from the Rockefeller Centre.

It is the first post Fergie has uploaded since arriving in New York.

The Duchess of York last publicly travelled to the Big Apple in September 2024, where she attended the city for Climate Week.

The Empire State Building, snapped by the duchess, was the tallest building in the world from 1931 to 1971.

The infamous landmark features in hundreds of television series and films, cementing itself as an international cultural icon and popular tourist destination.

Fergie's visit follows a similar photo of the views of Midtown Manhattan posted by her son-in-law, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, at the beginning of February.

The property developer tagged the post with the Instagram name of his property company, @banda.property, suggesting he also took a visit to the US city.

Edoardo spends a lot of time in New York because he works there for his real estate company.

The father-of-three also owns property in New York.

The 41-year-old founded Banda, a luxury real estate company, in 2007.

Edoardo and Princess Beatrice, Fergie's eldest daughter, welcomed their second child together on January 22 at 12.57pm at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi was born weighing four pounds and five ounces and is the granddaughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew.

The Duchess of York congratulated Princess Beatrice following Edoardo's social media announcement that the royal newborn had arrived.

In a statement, Sarah Ferguson said: "Overflowing with love and joy to be able to welcome Athena Elizabeth Rose into the world.

"She is already so adored and I'm incredibly blessed to be a Granny once again. So proud of Edo, Beatrice and the rest of my little 5-a-side team!"
