Sarah Ferguson has stayed loyal to the Royal Family with her new social media post.

The Duchess of York took to social media on Wednesday to celebrate Queen Camilla's 77th birthday.

Posting a photograph of the King and Queen, Fergie captioned the picture: "Happy birthday to Her Majesty, Queen Camilla.

"May your day be filled with love and celebration!"

This post came two weeks after Sarah, 64, shared a photograph of herself standing beside the late Princess Diana, King Charles's ex-wife, on what would have been the royal's 63rd birthday.

She captioned the picture: "Happy birthday to my dear friend, Diana. You were a pillar of light and love.

"And what a legacy you have left behind. I will forever remember our laughter and the kindred, kind spirit I found in you.

"I am sure you are watching over us always. Rest in peace my friend."

The photograph showed Diana and Fergie standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the Trooping the Colour flypast in 1990.

The former Princess of Wales died in a car crash during a trip to Paris with her boyfriend at the time, Dodi Al-Fayed, in 1997.

The Duchess of York's decision to publicly celebrate Camilla's birthday, despite being so close with the late Princess Diana, could go some ways to show her loyalty to the Royal Family.

Prince Andrew and Sarah divorced in 1996, however, have remained very close and still cohabitate together at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

A royal insider told Page Six: "Sarah has always been close to the King and is fond of him, and she has increasingly grown closer to the Queen.

"She's always been loyal to the family and has really not put a foot wrong in recent years.

"She's never said a critical word and is always extremely loyal to the institution."

This was seen in action with her appearance at Sandringham alongside the Royal Family during Christmas in 2023, and later when she joined them at Easter this year.

The duchess also acted as a representative of the Royal Family alongside her ex-husband, Queen Camilla, Mike and Zara Tindall, Princess Anne and Timothy Laurence and during a Thanksgiving service for the late King Constantine of the Hellenes in February.

Fergie continued to show her loyalty to the throne by postponing her own visit to Australia to make way for Charles and Camilla's upcoming royal tour.

Sarah previously said: "I'm very supportive of the King and the Queen Consort, and I really am glad to do whatever it takes to support them on their road ahead."
