These events aim to catalyse support and investment to scale their impact.

The celebration will culminate in the annual awards ceremony, where five global solutions will each receive £1 million to support their continued growth.

Since its inception, the Prize has identified over 5,300 emerging environmental innovations from 141 countries.

It has recognised and supported 60 innovators through its Fellowship Programme.

The Prize has awarded £20 million to winners to help scale their solutions.

This year's event builds on previous ceremonies held in London, Boston, Singapore, and Cape Town.

The 15 Earthshot Prize Finalists will participate in a year-long accelerator programme.

This programme provides mentorship, technical resources, and support for growing their businesses.

Finalists will also gain access to a global network of partners across business, philanthropy, and investment.

"2025 marks the midway point of the Earthshot decade and each year we've witnessed the remarkable power of human ingenuity in addressing our planet's most pressing challenges," said Prince William, Founder and President of The Earthshot Prize.

"As we bring The Earthshot Prize to Brazil, a nation rich in biodiversity and environmental innovation, we are seeing fresh momentum for new ideas to create healthier and safer ways to live our lives."

The Prince added: "It is an honour to profile the people making our world a better place for us and for our children."

This year, The Earthshot Prize is reviewing 232 unique solutions headquartered in Brazil and the rest of South America.

This represents more than double the number in the 2024 Prize Process.
