Meghan Markle has included a warning to those using her newly launched virtual shop.

The Duchess of Sussex has launched an online merchandise shop featuring luxury items including a £1,068 "Windsor" gown and £600 Saint Laurent sandals.

The former working royal unveiled the collection to her 2.6 million Instagram followers, offering them a glimpse inside her wardrobe with handpicked pieces from brands like Heidi Merrick, Saint Laurent, Reformation, and J Crew.

"Many of you have asked, so here you go! A little shopping to start the week," the Duchess wrote over a screen-recorded video of her new online store.

A warning on the website reads: "Please note, some products may contain commissionable links."

Shortly after the storefront went live, some third-party websites crashed as fans rushed to purchase the items.

The shop includes jewellery that will cost buyers £200.

Also included is a Maya Brenner necklace called 'The Happiness Retreat' priced at almost £400.

The collection comprises mostly elevated basics in neutral shades like beige, brown, white, black, and navy blue.

Meghan Markle is using a URL that embraces her royal title as a surname for her fashion website.

The Duchess of Sussex revealed her ShopMy page on March 24, with the web address "shopmy.us/ms" - shorthand for "Meghan Sussex".

While her name appears as "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex" on the site itself, the URL choice reflects her growing identification with Sussex as a family name.

The page was created after the URL "shopmy.us/meghan" was already taken, though that address doesn't appear to be active.

Her selections include many familiar pieces from her personal style repertoire, including her favourite sunglasses and the oversized button-down shirts that feature prominently in her Netflix show "With Love, Meghan".
