Carole Malone has shared her thoughts on the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage, after reports suggested she will not be joining Harry on his visit to the UK and Germany.

Discussing the royals on Britain’s Newsroom, the journalist and broadcaster was joined by Political Editor at the Daily Express, Sam Lister, and shed light on what Meghan’s absence from the WellChild Awards and the Invictus Games and what it could potentially mean for the Sussexes relationship.

Malone said: “I think it's up to Harry now if he wants to make reparations, he has to actually make the effort himself, and he's going to be kicking around London because once he's done these WellChild awards, all the family are either in Balmoral or they're travelling about.

“So who's he going to see, he's going to be in a hotel on his own? This has to be over surely, this marriage, doesn't it?

The commentator continued: “She was due to have a presenting role in the Invictus Games. Last year if you remember, she introduced him and said ‘meet my fantastic husband’ and all that.

“And she's not gonna be doing that. She might not even be there. Certainly the presenting role is now being withdrawn. But I just think, you know, these are all things that are close to his heart. And if you're not there to support your husband or men, it's not looking good for the marriage, is it?”
