Royal Lodge, the Windsor home of Prince Andrew, is "likely very quiet" with just the Duke and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, in residence, as they are likely missing their two daughters, according to property expert Robin Edwards.
Speaking exclusively to GB News, the property buying agent from Curetons suggested the expansive property lacks the bustle it was designed for.

Edwards explained that the property was intended for a more active household than its current occupancy allows.

"The expansive 30-room property is much more suited to large family gatherings, so it may seem lonely without their daughters and grandchildren there most of the time," Edwards told GB News.
The property expert suggested that the grand Windsor residence was designed for a bustling household rather than just two occupants.
While the spacious home might feel empty at times, Edwards noted that "the peacefulness might allow for some quiet reflection" for the Duke and his ex-wife.
The residence recently came alive when Princess Eugenie celebrated her 35th birthday at Royal Lodge.
Sarah shared a photo of her daughter's birthday cake on Instagram, marking the special occasion.
According to Edwards, this family gathering likely brought much joy to Andrew and Fergie.
"Royal Lodge is likely very quiet with just Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson there most of the time," he noted, suggesting that having their daughter visit was a welcome change from their usual routine.
The Duke of York is likely planning to address maintenance issues at Royal Lodge now that he has access to funds.
Edwards revealed: "Now that Prince Andrew has access to funds (though we still don't know where from), it's very likely he'll start to address Royal Lodge's extensive maintenance issues."
These necessary repairs would include "essential updates to plumbing, roofing and structural concerns", according to the property expert.
The work would ensure "the historic property remains livable and up to royal standards."
Edwards emphasised that if Andrew intends to remain at Royal Lodge long-term, these renovations would be essential.

The repairs aren't merely optional improvements but are "legally required by the terms of his lease from the Crown Estate."
Maintaining the historic Windsor residence to appropriate standards appears to be a condition of the Duke's continued occupancy.
The extensive work would ensure the property remains suitable for both everyday living and the occasional family gatherings that bring life to the otherwise quiet residence.
