The Firm reportedly see Prince Andrew as an 'embarrassment'
The Royal Family hope that the York family will continue to "stay under the radar", an expert has claimed.
Andrew Lownie, a royal biographer says Prince Andrew is seen as an "embarrassment" to the rest of the family while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson “continues to generate unfortunate headlines”.
Earlier this week, it emerged Andrew was banned from appearing at this year's Order of the Garter as Buckingham Palace begin the slash the number of public events the Duke attends.
However, the author of Traitor King said the Royal Family desperately "needs" more numbers of working royals after they lost both Andrew and the Sussexes consecutively.

Andrew's daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are unlikely to take on any prominent roles as they both have young families with Eugenie having just given birth to her second son at the end of May.
“The Firm need more working royals but the daughters are young mothers and have careers. Eugenie spends much time in Portugal so not ideal," Lownie told the Express.
Princess Anne has previously raised concerns about a "slimmed-down" Royal Family in an interview with the Canadian broadcaster CBC News.
The Princess Royal - who frequently carries out the most royal engagements in one year - said she did not believe cutting down the family was a "good idea".
Both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice also have demanding careers with Eugenie being the associate director of the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth while older sister Beatrice is Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy at the tech company Afiniti.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank split their time between Britain and Portugal as Brooksbank landed a job with Discovery Land Company.
Lownie added: "There’s a hope the York family, in general, will stay under the radar… Their mother [ Sarah Ferguson ] continues to generate unfortunate headlines.”
Fergie recently started her own podcast Tea Talks with her friend, entrepreneur Sarah Thomson where she claims there is no topic that is off-limits.

PAPrince Andrew was pressured to step down as a working royal in 2019 due to his affiliations with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duke was stripped of his military titles, royal patronages and suffix of His Royal Highness.
Lownie added: “The family see him as an embarrassment but he has never been one to be pushed around. Self-awareness is not one of his qualities.”
