Endgame, the bombshell book released by Omid Scobie today, has been pulled from shelves across Holland as it appears to name the "royal racist".
Publishers Xander have confirmed they received a last-minute request from the US to put sales of Endgame on hold as they were "awaiting further instructions".
Scobie did not name the member of the Royal Family who was said to have expressed "concern" about the skin colour of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future son, Prince Archie, in the original edition of his book.
The Duchess of Sussex originally raised the claim about the unnamed royal in her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In an interview with Good Morning America, the royal author said libel laws prevented him from naming the royal involved.
However, a page taken from a review copy of the book sent to Dutch journalists does seem to contain the royal's identity.
It is unclear why the Dutch version of the book would name the individual when other editions did not.
A spokesman for the Dutch publisher said: "You are right but I can't talk about the details.
"We have, however, received a request to put the title on hold and that is what we have done."
Asked when that request was received, they told The Mail: "Just now. We are awaiting further instructions.
The identity of the royals who voiced "concerns" about Archie's skin colour have not been disclosed

In a new bombshell claim from the book, Scobie went on to suggest that there was a second person within the royal household who also raised "concern" about the young prince's skin colour.
This contradicted Meghan's original statement which implied it was a single member of the Royal Family.
Buckingham Palace has so far refused to comment on any claims made by Omid Scobie in Endgame.
