The Royal Family has posted a "cryptic" message on social media amid mounting backlash.
King Charles received some criticism for not issuing an official statement to mark the beginning of Lent, a Christian celebration that lasts for 40 days in the lead-up to Easter.
As Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England, many Christians believe King Charles, 76, should release a message to mark the celebration.
It comes as Muslims broke their Ramadan fast inside Windsor Castle last weekend, and the King and Queen recently met British Muslim women at a female-led restaurant to celebrate Ramadan.

On Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, the Royal Family posted a five-second video showing a vintage "ON AIR" sign.
It is not clear what the post was meant to signify, although it likely means an official Royal Family announcement is imminent.
Royal fans immediately responded to the message on social media.
One wrote a sarcastic post, saying: "Podcast about Lent?"

Similarly, someone added: "Celebrating the first day of Lent?"
