A number of extra guests will visit The Firm's Norfolk Estate this Christmas
The Royal Family’s festive plans look set for a huge change as the Firm prepares to continue celebrating Christmas without Queen Elizabeth II.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will attend a traditional service on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
The Prince and Princess of Wales will join other leading members of the Royal Family at the service.
However, the guest list for those attending Christmas lunch back at Sandringham House has been changed drastically.
Queen Camilla’s family have been invited to attend for the first time.
The Firm will need to find a different location for the lunch to accommodate for more attendees.
It has been reported that the Royal Family will tuck into Christmas dinner in the ballroom rather than the dining room.
An extra table was needed in the White Drawing Room last year after a few extra members of Camilla’s family attended.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will definitely not be there.
Queen Camilla regularly hosts her children and grandchildren at her private family home in Wiltshire.
"The Queen has invited her children and grandchildren this year which is different from previous years,” a royal source told ITV.
Queen Camilla has two children and five grandchildren.
An insider added: "The addition of The Queen’s family means extra space is needed."
Queen Camilla
PAThe Queen’s family include her son Tom Parker Bowles and daughter Laura Lopes.
Camilla’s sister Annabel Elliot, a close aide in a group known as the “Queen’s Companions”, is also a key member.
She is reportedly helping to refurbish many of the rooms on the Sandringham Estate.
Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Fergie will stay at Wood Farm during the festive period.
Despite having a private phone call with King Charles to mark his father’s 75th birthday, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will not be in attendance.
