A new royal book is said to be in the making
Queen Elizabeth II's biography “will not be published for years”, due to bombshells about the current monarch, King Charles III.
A suitable historian is currently being sought out to write the royal biography, however, it is believed that the King is uncomfortable with the book being released.
Robert Lacey, a royal historian, said: “Any serious book has to examine the more difficult aspects of the King’s relationship with his mother.
“That’s why I wonder whether it can possibly be published in his lifetime.

“The years of real crisis in the Queen’s reign revolved around the breakup of Charles’s marriage to Diana.
“There is the testimony of a private secretary that the Queen told Charles she wanted ‘nothing to do’ with Camilla – whom she described as ‘that wicked woman’ – and that Prince Charles himself was close to tears over this.”
He also told The Telegraph: “I can’t see any way that the candid verdicts on Prince Charles among some very senior figures in the palace and No10 during the monarchy’s dark days of the 1990s can possibly be published during his reign.”
Many periods of King Charles's life cannot be censored from an official biography of the late Queen.

For instance, she was the person who reportedly ordered her son and late daughter-in-law Princess Diana to divorce in 1996 after her Panorama interview.
But these periods are likely things the King would not want to be brought up again with the release of a new royal book.
Other scenarios that the King might shy away from include the downfall of his brother Prince Andrew, and the exit of his son Prince Harry from the Royal Family in 2020.
One way of avoiding controversies in the short term would be to release numerous volumes of the Queen's life.

Some historians believe it could be divided by time, with the earlier part of her 70-year reign being published first.
The historians rumoured to pen the upcoming biography include Simon Sebag Montefiore, Lord Roberts of Belgravia or Sir David Cannadine.
King Charles will have the final say over who writes the book, and he might prefer to pick a younger author, or someone female or from an ethnic minority, for example.
Therefore, Jane Ridley, who has penned biographies of Edward VII and George V, has emerged as a good choice.
