During the reception, the Queen is set to meet friends and supporters of Book Aid International and have the opportunity to hear about the charity’s work within the community alongside partners, publishers, authors and supporters.
It is not the first time the Queen has stressed the importance of getting young people reading. Earlier this year, the Queen opened a new school library at Moreland Primary School in Islington, London.
She told children: "You’re really lucky to have such a beautiful library and I hope you’re going to enjoy reading all the books, because the more books you read the more you’re going to learn.
"The more you’re going to learn the more you’re going to get on in life. It’s so important to keep reading, and I think having a library like this makes a huge difference to all of you here. Good luck and keep reading."

Speaking at the grand final of the 500 Words writing competition for children, Queen Camilla said her love for reading came for her father Bruce Shand.
She told comedian and presenter Romesh Ranganathan: "'He had the biggest collection of books you have ever seen on almost everything.
"When we were children at night he would sit at the bottom of our beds and read us stories, every sort of story you could imagine. I think that's when my love of books started."
She previously described him as a "brilliant storyteller" who "read to us each night and transported us into different worlds."

The Queen is not the only member of the Royal Family to express her love for reading to children.
In 2022, The Duchess of Cambridge chose to read the children’s classic, The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark, for the CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
She described the Jill Tomlinson book as an "encouraging tale" adding it was a favourite of hers when she was younger.
