The Queen has said that the King is “recovering well” as she visited Bath today while His Majesty remains at home.
Queen Camilla was greeted by cheering schoolchildren after attending a service of celebration at Bath Abbey.
When royal fans asked for an update on the King’s health, the Queen replied: “He’s recovering well, thank you.”
This is the second day in a row that the Queen has given an update on her husband’s health following his prostate treatment.

Yesterday, the Queen told a well-wisher that the King was “getting on” and “doing his best.”
Camilla travelled to Bath to visit the chapel of St Michael Within as she carries out engagements celebrating the 850th anniversary of St John’s Foundation.
The Queen wrapped up in a dark maroon coat, black leather gloves and knee-high boots to brave the cold in the old spa town.
She added a pop of colour to the dark outfit with a brightly patterned scarf and pin.

Earlier today, the Queen chatted to residents of the almshouses at the Chapel of St Michael Within over a cup of tea.
The Queen, who has been the Patron of St John’s Foundation since 2009, was joined by around nine of the charity’s residents.
Rita Willis, 86, spoke with the Queen and said afterwards: “'I asked her to convey to the King how good it was he spoke about his prostate diagnosis, and she said she would.”
Another resident, Joanna Laurence, and the Queen talked about their shared love of gardening.

The Queen said: “I find it the most relaxing thing in the world, you come in and everything starts stiffening up, it's worth it.”
Camilla also mentioned the King’s vegetable garden at his Highgrove home in Gloucestershire commenting: “'Eating your own vegetables is incredibly special.”
This week, the Queen has stepped up to work with Princess Anne and the Duchess of Edinburgh as they are the only senior royals on public engagements.
