The Queen has given a health update on the King as he continues to recover from his prostate treatment at home.
Camilla was asked about His Majesty's health as she opened Maggie’s Royal Free Hospital, a cancer support centre, in north London today.
The Queen was heard saying that the King is “getting on” and “doing his best” following his recent discharge.
As Queen Camilla toured the Royal Free Hospital, a donor, Sir Gerald Ronson, asked how the King was getting on to which she replied: “He’s getting on, doing his best.”

Dori Dana-Haeri, a leader of the fundraising effort for the cancer support centre, told the Queen that she was “so pleased” that Charles was doing well.
Queen Camilla nodded in agreement with Dana-Haeri saying: “Thank goodness!”
Another supporter, Sir Michael Pakenham, also wished the King well stating: “All the best wishes to His Majesty for the best recovery.”
Camilla replied: “Thank you very much, that’s very kind. I’ll pass it on.”

At the official opening today, the Queen met with staff and volunteers working in the centre to hear how Maggie’s has helped to support families.
The Queen has been president of Maggie’s since 2008 and today marked her 17th visit to a Maggie’s centre but her first visit as Queen.
The Queen joked: “I try and get around them but every time, another one pops up so I never quite catch up.”
Maggie’s has a unique approach to cancer care and brings people into a calm, friendly and uplifting space away from hospital to experience alternative care.

All support through Maggie’s is free and there are no appointments or referrals needed. Individuals can also use their health centres for as long as they need.
The cancer support group focuses on issues that are often overlooked like money worries, help with stress and depression and managing side effects with friends and family.
Following the Queen’s visit today, Maggie’s Centres official twitter account posted a photo of Camilla outside the new health centre with a caption.
The King is currently recovering at home since his hospital discharge and is set for a period of recuperation.
