Camilla’s son says his mother is the 'first Queen to have ever cooked'

Queen Camilla is returning to royal duties today as she attends a Booker Prize reception at Clarence House today.
Camilla’s son has said that his mother is the “first Queen to have cooked”.
Tom Parker Bowles, 49, the oldest child of Queen Camilla,77, has revealed his mother is a very good chef.
He said: “It’s probably true that my mother is the first Queen to have cooked.
“She cooks less now, but cooked for two children for 20 years and is very good.”
Camilla’s son has said that his mother is the “first Queen to have ever cooked”.

He also praised King Charles for being a “hero” by backing British farmers and produce.
He added: “The King is a British food hero, and that’s not me being oily.”
"He’s been talking about heritage fruits and vegetables and rare breeds for years now, so when he talks to farmers, he’s really well informed.”
Tom revealed he tries to visit the King and Queen weekly as he and his two children have a close relationship with the royals.

He told Discover Britain magazine: “I have a special high-security card that grants me access.
"We go and say hi and have a cup of tea, and for the kids that’s entirely normal.”
After a tough week battling a chest infection Queen Camilla is returning to royal duties today as she attends a Booker Prize reception at Clarence House today.
The illness ruled the Queen out of Remembrance events across the weekend.

A new health precaution has been taken as the Queen will meet guests for a shorter period than planned.
Camilla will also attend a Palace reception with King Charles on Wednesday but will miss out on the star-studded Gladiator II premiere in the evening.
The reception is to celebrate the TV and film industry, but the Queen will not stay for the entirety of the engagement due to the new health precaution.
The changes to her diary are understood to have been made to protect and prioritise the Queen's continued recovery.
