Princess Margaret's grandson, Samuel Chatto, has been showcasing his latest ceramic works at the Ram Gallery in Norway, amid engagement rumours.

The 28-year-old artist shared snapshots of his exhibition opening on Instagram, where he was featured alongside his work.


The Ram Gallery announced that Chatto would be present at the Ceramic Brussels event for "an informal conversation on his works."

The royal has been making more public appearances recently, particularly with his girlfriend Eleanor Ekserdjian.

The couple made headlines when they attended church in Sandringham on Christmas Day alongside other senior royals, including King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by their three children, were also prominent during the walk.

The appearance echoed a historic moment, as Eleanor became only the second royal girlfriend ever invited to attend the Sandringham festivities.

The only previous instance was Meghan Markle, who attended in 2017 shortly after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry.

King Charles's decision to extend an invitation to Eleanor Ekserdjian has sparked widespread speculation about the couple's future.

The 28-year-old's inclusion in the royal Christmas celebrations has placed her in "rarefied air," with many wondering if she might become Britain's newest royal.

His relationship with Eleanor Ekserdjian is thought to have begun in 2021, with the couple making several public appearances together since.

Eleanor joined Sam at Tatler's Little Black Book Party in 2022 and has been spotted accompanying the Chattos at National Gallery events.

The royal artist has also maintained his public duties, attending Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral and supporting the Princess of Wales's annual carol service.

Sam Chatto's describes himself as a British artist and maker, specialising in functional and sculptural wood-fired ceramics from his studio in West Sussex.

His career has seen rapid progression, including a six-week apprenticeship at North Shore Pottery and exhibitions at Somerset's At The Chapel restaurant.

Chatto, an Eton College alumnus, studied History of Art at the University of Edinburgh alongside his brother Arthur.
