Princess Eugenie has taken to Instagram to welcome her new-born niece, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.
It comes after Edoardo shared a sweet photo of the young royal on his Instagram account, announcing the new royal baby girl.
Beatrice, the older sister of Eugenie, was due to give birth in early spring and was warned by doctors in December not to travel long distances while pregnant.
The Princesses of York, who are not working royals, have a close relationship.

Buckingham Palace announced in a statement on Wednesday: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57pm, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
"The baby was born weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces.
"Their majesties the King and Queen and other members of the Royal Family have all been informed and are delighted with the news."
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo, who are not official working royals, thanked staff at the hospital for the "wonderful care" they received.

The royal baby girl will be 11th in line to the throne and is the late Queen's 12th great-grandchild.
Beatrice, who is Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's eldest daughter, married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony in July 2020.
The baby is Princess Beatrice and Edoardo's second child together, with the royal giving birth to Sienna on September 18, 2022.
