Princess Eugenie's new "confidence" can be seen in her break from Royal Family protocol, a commentator has claimed.
In 2011, the Princess of York, who was 21 at the time, wore an opulent Philip Treacy fascinator to complement her bold Vivienne Westwood dress at Princess Kate's wedding.
Eugenie's outfit, along with her sister Princess Beatrice's outfit, caused widespread mockery on social media.
Beatrice and Eugenie's style was cruelly compared to the elegant bride the Princess of Wales and her sister, Pippa Middleton, who acted as bridesmaid.

However, a celebrity stylist claimed that Princess Eugenie, now 34, has undergone a fashion transformation.
Alex Longmore said: "I believe this new-found fashion confidence Princess Eugenie has, and her more stylised approach to dressing, is due to motherhood and how satisfied she is in the role of mum to two boys.
"Her outfit choices have evolved hugely in the last few years, favouring block colours over the tawdry floral prints of the past.
"She has also learnt what styles work with her figure."
