During their time spent together, the pair have fostered a close bond which has left her parents 'thrilled'
Princess Charlotte is being taught how to be a royal by a “perfect role model” who has taken the nine-year-old under her wing, a palace insider has claimed.
Charlotte’s “princess training” is being led by Princess Anne, who is coaching the young royal on some of the difficult tasks that she will face as she grows older and becomes a front-line member of the Royal Family.
The insider also explained some recent faux pas that the nine-year-old would do well to avoid.
“Anne's also inadvertently giving her some juicy gossip on the family by going through some of the worst faux pas a royal can make, from her uncle partying in Nazi uniforms to Beatrice's dreadful fascinator at her parents' wedding,” a palace insider told Woman’s Day.
Through their time spent together, the pair seem to have fostered a close-bond which has left her parents “thrilled”.
“They're talking ALL the time about everything and anything, “ the royal source explained to the Australian publication. They went on: “Women’s football, sailing, horses, ballet, fashion, manners... Essentially she's foolproofing Charlotte into becoming the perfect princess and standby queen.”
The source said that William and Kate “couldn't imagine a better role model than Anne, who is renowned for her work ethic and impregnable support for the King”.
Harkening back to the Princess Royal’s support to Kate when she first joined the family, Charlotte’s mother hopes that she will give her daughter the same “candid tough love” that she received all those years ago.

PAPrincess Anne is also trying to ensure that Charlotte has a good relationship with her brother, similar to her own relationship with her brother the King.

She is currently in Paris for the 2024 Olympics. The Princess Royal has been a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 1988.
Princess Anne presented Team GB’s first gold medals to Ros Canter, Laura Collett and Tom McEwen, who came out on top in the Equestrian Eventing Team final on Monday.
However, she did more than just present medals - the Princess Royal had an important role to play in aiding the team gain the top gong long before they arrived in Paris.
One of her horses who lives at her stables at Gatcombe Park estate, in Gloucestershire, was part of the winning team.
Presenting the medals to the trio, who came out victorious in the three-day event, Princess Anne simply said: “Very good!”
