A comedian has responded to Prince William as he revealed a joke Princess Charlotte “keeps repeating.”
The prince threw some shade at the popular British comedian Jack Whitehall during a visit to a school in the Midlands today.
The prince said he was going to “channel Jack Whitehall” by making a “pretty dad-like” joke to a group of schoolchildren.
Jack Whitehall responded to the comment on X, stating: “Rinsed by the future King” with a red love heart emoji.

During his trip to St Michael’s Church of England High School in Rowley Regis, William said: "I am with the gang here talking about male mental health and I've been asked to produce a dad joke.
"I'm trying to channel Jack Whitehall because most of his jokes are pretty dad-like.”
He went on to explain that the joke is Princess Charlotte’s “favourite joke at the moment.”
William continued: “You're going to have to interact with me, it's not a joke I can tell straight away.”

Proceeding to tell the joke, the prince said: “Knock knock.”
The boys replied: "Who's there?"
The prince then said: “Interrupting cow."
Before the boys had a chance to reply, “Interrupting cow who?”, William loudly went “Moo!”

Jack Whitehall also filmed a funny response to William’s comments and shared the video on Instagram.
In the video, Whitehall is seen looking shocked when William calls his jokes “dad-like” but discreetly pulls out a notebook and pen and writes down the gag after it is told.
He captions the video: “An outrageous shading from the future King. #DadJokes #theregoesmyknighthood.”
