Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II are celebrating Monaco's National Day today.

The couple, along with Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, arrived at St Nicholas Cathedral for the Te Deum mass this morning.

Charlene was a vision in red for the historic ceremony.

The princess wore a Stephen Jones red beret, Manolo Blahnik red knee-length boots, a red coat, a red dress, and sleek red gloves.

This was almost certainly a nod to the nation's flag, which is half red and half white.

Charlene accessorised with Graff ruby cluster earrings that also featured white diamonds - another nod to Monaco.

One fan posted on X: "Princess Charlene's outfit is amazing!"

Another added: "Between Princess Charlene's amazing outfit and Archbishop David's ability to say a fine Te Deum, it's already a fine Fete Nationale."

The National Day of Monaco, also known as The Sovereign Prince's Day, is currently celebrated each year on November 19.

The reigning Prince of Monaco traditionally chooses the National Day's date.

The late Prince Rainier III selected November 19, as this is Saint Rainier's Day.

This custom was ended when Prince Albert II took the throne, as he decided to keep the National Day the same as his late father.

Prince Albert also officially took the throne on November 19, making it a significant date for him.

The national holiday is usually commemorated with a mass at St Nicholas Cathedral and fireworks over the harbour the evening before.

The Monegasque flag is also flown in celebration by the people of Monaco.
