Princess Charlene of Monaco has issued a statement regarding rumours that there is trouble in her marriage with Prince Albert II.
The Monegasque royal branded speculation "exhausting" during an interview with a South African broadcaster.

Princess Charlene said: "I find the rumours [about my marriage] tiring and exhausting."
She added: "I just don't understand where these rumours come from."
Rumours regarding the couple's marriage intensified this summer after the Princess of Monaco deleted her Instagram account.
However, Charlene stated the decision was to protect the privacy of her children.

The royal added that she wants to keep her children away from the "pressure" of life in the public eye for as long as she can.
Princess Charlene has completed a highly anticipated return to undertaking public engagements in Monaco.
The royal joined the Monegasque Seniors Association on Monday evening.
Princess Charlene spent the majority of 2021 in South Africa as an illness prevented her from returning to Monaco.
The royal collapsed in September 2020 due to surgical complications after having an operation for a severe and ongoing ear, nose and throat (ENT) infection.
After the infection, Charlene suffered a bout of exhaustion and recovered from this away from Monaco.
Following a prologued spell away from home she returned to Monaco and was reunited with her husband and children.
