The Princess of Monaco shared a sweet photograph with her two young children today

Princess Charlene posed with her twins before joining Prince Albert at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix earlier today.

The Princess of Monaco, 46, took to Instagram today to mark Monaco's Mother's Day.


Posting a picture with her nine-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, Charlene wrote: "Happy Mother's Day," accompanied by a red heart emoji.

Princess Charlene donned a pink gingham suit for the occasion, with diamond earrings and her signature blonde pixie haircut.

The mother-of-two later joined her husband, Prince Albert, 66, at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix alongside Jacques and Gabriella.

Charlene looked stunning in a crisp blue jumpsuit and large black sunglasses.

Royal fans loved the new picture of Charlene for Mother's Day, taking to social media to praise the 46-year-old.

One said: "Happy Mother's Day to wonderful Princess Charlene. May God protect her and her sweet children."

Another wrote: "Beautiful mum Princess Charlene with her most beautiful jewellery."

One added: "Happy to see your strong family love bond."

A royal watcher commented: "A beautiful mother and beautiful children."

Prince Albert started dating Charlene, originally from South Africa but born in Zimbabwe, in 2006.

The two former Olympic athletes tied the knot in 2011 at the Prince's Palace of Monaco.

In 2014, they welcomed twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Despite Gabriella being the elder twin, Jacques is the heir-to-the-throne in Monaco due to the patriarchal rules of succession.
