Prince Albert of Monaco was spotted dining in a Cheshire village without his wife, Princess Charlene.
The Prince of Monaco, 66, made a surprise visit to Alderley Edge, known to be home to millionaires and footballers on Friday.
The royal shocked customers when he was spotted dining for lunch at the celebrity-favourite restaurant, San Carlo.
Albert looked suave in a smart black trouser suit, crisp white chequered shirt and some highly polished shoes.

He could be seen posing with his arms around two of the restaurant's managers.
It is unknown why the prince was visiting the area, known as the home of "Manchester royalty".
The son of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III was dining at the Italian restaurant without his wife Princess Charlene or their nine-year-old twin children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.
The glitzy Italian restaurant opened in Alderley Edge after a £3million transformation last year.

Since then, it has welcomed some of the area's most famous residents, including former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen.
Prince Albert is a keen football fan and has surprised Manchester City fans by appearing at previous games.
The prince is also pals with Manchester United's new minority shareholder Jim Ratcliffe, a tax resident of Monaco.
Two years ago, Albert flew to London on another unexpected solo visit to watch West Ham play Manchester City.

Albert and Charlene were pictured taking their children to the Monte Carlo Tennis Masters tournament on April 14.
The sporty couple, who both represented their home countries in the Olympics, put on a united display by coordinating their outfits.
