This year’s event was dedicated to Prince Rainier III, the father of Prince Albert and late husband of Princess Grace of Monaco.
The late monarch was one of the founders of the festival, having created it in 1974.
Princess Charlene wrapped up warm in a stylish black polo neck jumper and a beige coat.
She wore a pair of suede knee-high boots and gold diamond earrings.

Meanwhile, Prince Albert braved the cold in grey trousers and a navy coat.
Prince Jacques opted for a similar coloured coat to his father.
His twin, Princess Gabriella, donned a leopard print jacket and boots, looking very stylish.
The two children both wore red clown noses as they immersed themselves in the festivities.
Princess Charlene has not been seen since Christmas and the New Year period

Other royals present at the event included the Italian journalist and aristocrat Beatrice Borromeo, along with her eldest son Stefano Ercole Carlo Casiraghi.
Borromeo is married to Pierre Casiraghi, the youngest son of Princess Caroline of Monaco.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were last seen on New Year’s Eve when they posted their annual address on social media.
