Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are being poised for a promotion amid their exciting new roles.

The York sisters, who are not officially working royals, made a surprise joint appearance at a garden party in the Haven House Hospice earlier this week, praising the "incredible" dedication of the charity workers.

The charity organisation, based in London, works to fundraise for children with "life-limiting or life-threatening conditions".

Princess Eugenie took to social media to share a video documenting the trip, including the planting of a ceremonial tree.

Eugenie’s heartwarming video was accompanied by a brief message, saying: "Today I was so lucky to visit Haven House Hospice with my sister.

"Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green, London, funds specialist care to children who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions."

The organisation was quick to thank the royals for their support, penning a social media message dedicated to the pair.

They wrote: "We welcomed Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and it was lovely to see them spend the afternoon engaging with children and their families, bringing joy and smiles to all in attendance."

Princess Eugenie, 34, has taken on a new role of becoming increasingly active on her social media accounts.

She has shared rare insights into her family life alongside touching photos of her children, August, three, and Ernest, one.

Her older sister Beatrice, 36, has also embraced her new public role by stepping out this week on a solo royal engagement to Canary Wharf.

The mother-of-one was pictured during the BGC annual charity day, held annually in commemoration of BGC's 658 colleagues and the 61 Eurobrokers employees lost on 9/11.

Princess Eugenie issued a statement following the outing:

As King Charles and the Princess of Wales continue to battle cancer, many royal watchers have wondered whether Princess Eugenie and her sister Beatrice will be poised for a royal promotion.

Earlier this year, royal commentator Richard Eden argued it was "time to see more of the younger royals as the older generation struggles to hold the Monarchy together in tough circumstances".

The slimmed-down Royal Family has felt the shockwaves of two senior members’ cancer diagnoses this year.

Therefore, Eden suggested Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Lady Louise Windsor, and James, Earl of Wessex "could play a vital role in the future, supporting their cousin Prince William when he eventually succeeds to the throne".
