Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie avoided attending Prince Harry's Invictus event in London last week due to fears of causing a divide in the Royal Family, according to a royal commentator.
The Princesses of York are known to have a close relationship with Prince Harry.
Princess Eugenie was the first member of the Royal Family that Prince Harry introduced to Meghan Markle.
However, both of Prince Andrew's daughters were absent from the event at St Paul's Cathedral last Wednesday.

The Duke of Sussex gave a reading at the engagement to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
Harry founded the sporting competition in 2014 when he was still a working member of the Royal Family.
No member of the Royal Family attended the event amid Harry and Meghan's ongoing feud with senior royals.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News Beatrice and Eugenie would not have attended the event without getting the King's approval.

He said: "They [Beatrice and Eugenie] would not have been expected to be there because that would have been a sign of a split in the Royal Family.
"You would have had royals there, some there and not others, that would have been seized on."
Fitzwilliams added that despite Beatrice and Eugenie's "close relationship with Harry" they would not commit to attending the event without speaking to King Charles.
He said: "If you had any members of the Royal Family going it would have been perceived as a split.
