Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are facing calls to step up as Queen Camilla shoulders a heavy royal burden.
King Charles and Princess Kate have both temporarily paused royal duties while they receive cancer treatment.
As a result, Queen Camilla has had to take on many more responsibilities and engagements over the past few weeks to fill the gaps in the royal diary.
A royal source told The Telegraph: “She is proud, resilient and devoted and if it serves the King and the nation to step up and serve the nation she will do it.

“She does have incredible energy, she does ballet classes once a week, she’s very fit and healthy.
“Of course, she’s juggling. She wants to spend as much time as possible with the King to support him however she can.”
Royal fans have taken to social media to express their desires for Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 34, to become working royals amid the current shortages.
Prince Andrew's daughters have never worked on behalf of the Royal Family, however, there could be a space for the sisters now the King and the Princess of Wales have stepped back.

"Plus, Beatrice is already a Councillor of State."
Another account commented: "I personally think if His Majesty The King wants to make anyone temporary working royals while he and the Princess of Wales are receiving treatment, then it should be Princess Beatrice and possibly Princess Eugenie."
A third royal watcher said: "I suspect the King would rather ask Beatrice, Eugenie, Louise and James to step up to the plate rather than Harry and Meghan."
