Although Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are only seen positively by four in 10 Britons, they are only seen negatively by a quarter.
Over a third of the population either do not know who the York sisters are, or don't know how to feel about them.
This marks a strong boost for Prince Andrew's daughters after facing a tough year.
On April 5, 2024, a dramatisation titled Scoop dropped on the streaming platform Netflix about the Duke of York's car crash Newsnight interview, which railroaded his royal career.
Although Eugenie, 34, was largely not present in the film, actress Charity Wakefield was cast to play Beatrice.
In the film, Princess Beatrice appeared in a meeting where she told her father that the backlash over his friendship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was worse than he thought.
She was depicted as encouraging the interview, which in reality resulted in the Duke being forced to step down from his royal duties.
On September 19, 2024, another dramatisation about Prince Andrew's Newsnight interview was released - this time, a three-part series on Amazon Prime titled A Very Royal Scandal.

Two actresses were cast to play Beatrice and Eugenie respectively: Honor Swinton Byrne and Sofia Oxenham.
The sisters were shown reacting to their father's interview and sobbing in the aftermath.
In addition, a scene showed Princess Beatrice's 2020 wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, where Prince Andrew was ostracised from the official wedding photos.
Beatrice and Eugenie have never publicly commented on the interview, however, a friend of the princesses told the Daily Beast that they were concerned that defending their father would make the situation worse.
