The Queen led the Royal Family at today's memorial service for the Greek monarch

Princess Beatrice joined Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at today's memorial service while Princess Eugenie was noticeably absent.

The British royals honoured the life of King Constantine of the Hellenes at St George's Chapel today.


King Constantine, who was a second cousin of King Charles, died at the age of 82 in Athens last year.

The majority of the British Royal Family members turned out today to honour his life at a memorial service.

These working royals included Queen Camilla and Princess Anne.

King Charles has temporarily halted royal duties as he continues to receive cancer treatment.

Therefore, the Queen, 76, led the royals at Windsor Castle alongside Queen Anne-Marie, the widow of King Constantine.

Several non-working royals turned out today at St George's Chapel, including Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall.

However, Princess Eugenie, 33, was notably absent from today's memorial service.

The royal lives part-time in Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their sons, August, three, and eight-month-old Ernest.

Meanwhile, Beatrice, 35, who lives in the UK, arrived at St George's Chapel today alongside her husband of three years, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The couple recently returned from a holiday in Switzerland, which they took with their daughter Sienna Mapelli Mozzi.

Prince William, 41, announced just before today's memorial service that he was unable to attend due to personal reasons.

GB News understands that Kate, Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, continues to be doing well.

The Prince of Wales called the Greek Royal Family to let them know he was unable to attend.

The late King, who died in January last year, was William’s godfather.
