King Charles has said he is 'delighted' with the news of his niece, the Princess of York
Princess Beatrice has announced she is pregnant with her second child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
King Charles has said he is "delighted" as Edoardo and the royal are expecting their second child together.
In a new statement, Buckingham Palace said: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.
"His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

Beatrice's first child, a daughter named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, was born in September 2021.
Edoardo also has a son named Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) with his ex-partner, Dara Huang.
Beatrice's second child will become the fourth grandchild of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
Their youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, has two sons with her husband Jack Brooksbank - August, three, and Ernest, one.

The royal baby will be 11th in line to the throne, behind older sister Sienna and mother Beatrice.
It pushes Princess Eugenie back to 12th in line.
Like Beatrice's other children, the new baby will not be known by the title of HRH or have a royal title.
The baby would have been the late Queen Elizabeth II's 14th great-grandchild, with the oldest being Savannah Phillips and the youngest being Princess Eugenie's son Ernest Brooksbank.

The pregnancy news comes shortly after Princess Beatrice, 36, was the subject of a royal series on Amazon Prime.
The series, titled A Very Royal Scandal, dramatised Prince Andrew's career-ending Newsnight interview from 2019.
Princess Beatrice was depicted in the programme accompanying her father to meet the BBC team ahead of the interview.
